All books are brand new unless otherwise noted. We quality check each and every product. However, please note that there may be minor imperfections. Some books may have a small black dot or line on the
bottom edge, due to publisher overstock.
We also have gently used books in inventory — if you're interested, please see the Used collection (under "Blind Date with a Book - Gently Used"). Good for you for keeping books out of landfills!
Each book's packaging and extras are unique. Your product won't look exactly like the one in the photos, but it will arrive with all the extras listed in the description for the tier you choose, and with its own personalized packaging.
Our books are carefully researched and chosen by Amy. They're highly rated across multiple review platforms (Storygraph, Goodreads, etc.) — and whenever possible we source from women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ authors.
Yes! Pick your genre on the main Blind Date Collection page or Shop page. Some genres are divided into specific subgenres as well. Also check the Specialty books under "Blind Date with a Book - Specialty" for more detailed extras (sprayed edges anyone!) and genre/subgenre offerings.
It happens! Risk is part of the blind date magic. We encourage you to keep the book or gift it to a friend. But if you're truly disappointed with the book you received, please send us a note (using the Contact form) within 7 days and we'll work with you on a swap — we want every purchase to feel like a hit.
Blind date books come in a variety of paperback and hardback books. While we're building our inventory, you may receive either one, but we're working on giving you the option between paperback and hardback in the future.
